shredded sprouts

This week I have a bag of Brussels sprouts. I won’t lie, they aren’t my favourite, no matter how cute they look. Today I decided to slice finely a dozen or so sprouts, and pan fry them in olive oil, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and about 1/2 teaspoon each of smoked paprika and ancho chilli powder my lovely friend Sabine gifted me. After about 5 mins or so it looked fine and I finished it with a squeeze of lemon and smoked sea salt. This is my new favourite way of eating sprouts!

  1. The best restaurant in Marine City Michigan serves Brussel Sprouts as crisps and they are lovely. This looks like it might be similar.
