
I’m working my way through my big purple kohlrabi, and today I made a sesame slaw salad. I used the same veg box veg (kohlrabi sliced with a mandolin and then chopped into match sticks, fat carrot sliced into ribbons with my peeler) and made a dressing by whisking a tsp of soy sauce, tsp of rice wine vinegar, tbsp of sesame oil, a big squeeze of lime, a sprinkle of Korean dried chilli powder, and some toasted sesame seeds. I tossed the dressing with the carrots and kohlrabi and dumped it all on the lettuce. I sprinkled some crushed peanuts and chopped cilantro on top for some crunch and flavour. Done and done!
