
Still trying to convince myself that Brussels sprouts are awesome. Shredded sprouts sautéed with garlic, lemon, and sumac. I’ve used it as a topping for a very very green toast: smashed avocado, mixed greens, sautéed sprouts.
Really this just involves cutting about a dozen Brussels sprouts finely and adding to a hot pan with some oil (I used olive oil). I added some salt, lemon pepper, and garlic powder and cooked until some bits looked crispy and some bits looked bright green (maybe 5 mins). I finished it with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of sumac. Chilli peppers would also be nice here.
